Redeeming features


Among its many inconveniencies my workspace offers very poor artificial light; I turned my cups increasingly by guess.  An injudicious jab sent one gyrating from the wheelhead, but I caught it.  Daylight will reveal the effectiveness of the process.

Conveniencies of the workspace include generous wafts from the white honeysuckle, and a bloody sky:


The latter cast a portentous light on the work in hand.

    • Except for three weeks of the year it is like a furnace or a fridge, and leaks all over, plus thousands of little holes all inhabited by things with eight legs and ten eyes apiece which drop onto you just when you LEAST expect it. And I do count myself lucky to have space for my eccentricities.
