It would be a cliche if it wasn’t true

Images from my watering round, on another fine spring day.  Self sown violets, the first crop nearly ready to go in sandwiches, gooseberry flowers forming (already whiskery).  I’d like to include the scent of wallflowers but I don’t think there is a mechanism for uploading that.  It does look too good to be true.  I didn’t take any photos of the nettles or slugs or spiders though.  Or the narcissus, just coming into bloom but squashed flat by the great fat behind of a pheasant which camps out in the garden.
